ASH BARTY VISITS ULURU

Directed and executed Ash Barty's iconic visit to Uluru as First Nations Tennis Ambassador following her historical Australian Open win in 2022.

Due to the remote location of the trip, all media had to be captured by our TA content and photo team, and distributed via media release and vision alerts which proved very successful. The coverage saw 426 syndicated clippings, with 85 unique articles or stories. The trip secured multiple front and back pages around the country.




INNOVATION AND DIGITAL PR

Diversity & inclusion pr

Part of my experience has seen me leading AO and Tennis Inclusion and Diversity PR and digital strategies for people with disabilities including: Wheelchair, Intellectual Disability, Blind / Low Vision, Deaf and Hard of Hearing and other under represented groups including First Nations, LGBTIQ+, and low socio economic communities.

This experience has led me to;

  • Oversee the launch of the inaugural National Indigenous Tennis Carnival (2018)
  • Lead PR strategy and direction for AO First Nations Day
  • And create the concept and campaign for AO to host first ever All Abilities Day recognising our diverse community

MAJOR EVENTS

I'm an experienced publicity and digital major events professional, having worked at ten Australian Open's, and other major lead in state based tennis events (United Cup, ATP Cup, Melbourne Summer Series), as well as Wimbledon and other international events.


My experience includes ideation, planning and delivery for major events PR, including creating strategic timelines, executing launches and major announcements developing media lists and pitching plans, writing and executing plans for media releases and alerts, providing spokesperson briefings, developing key messages, and managing risk and crisis communications.


I'm very proficient at creating a tailored approach for different major events, and ensuring plans are fitting for all audiences (local to global).


I also have experience moderating and running press opportunities, facilitating photo and production briefs, and working with various organisational stakeholders to ensure all requirements are met.
